Philippians 1:27-30

Philippians 1:27-30
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; 28And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God. 29For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;30Having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

Released in 1956, he 'resumed his work with the ‘underground’ churches....He was re-arrested in 1959 through the conspiracy of an associate, and sentenced to 25 years... accused of preaching ideas contrary to Communist doctrine."
"In 1967, Richard and Sabrina Wurmbrand founded a ministry that would serve the persecuted church. Its name was eventually changed to Voice of the Martyrs. By the mid-1980s, it was reaching out to "80 restricted nations with offices in 30 countries around the world." His book, Tortured for Christ, became a source of encouragement among the persecuted throughout the Soviet system." ...(more)
